For many years now, I have been in charge of making the pies in my family for Thanksgiving. I have a huge family, eight siblings without counting any spouses, so we need a lot of pie. Some years I would be holed up in my mom’s kitchen for hours making upwards of ten different options! Then there are years like this one where the need is a much more reasonable number of five. I’m not even going to be at meal, but its been my task, and besides, who’s going to decorate all these pies? I landed this gig mostly because I go a little crazy with decorating them. I use premade crust or I would be here two days. The talley this year were two mixed berry, one apple, one apple blueberry , and a pumpkin of course
