Cold Water Series: Moment of Clarity (Opening Friday!)

It’s finally feeling like summer, so thought I would share my latest piece from my Cold Water Series, this one entitled, “Moment of Clarity”.  The day was so clear, as only it can be when everything is frozen and there’s so little floating around in the atmosphere.  No pollen, little smog, and a biting breeze down on the beach. A moment that can literally clear your head.

The piece is 10×24″ and framed in 2″ custom routed acrylic framing.  The acrylic panels are hand painted in acrylic and then spaced inside the frame.  This piece will be part of the Blue Ribbon Show at the South Shore Art Center starting tomorrow, Friday 18th and runs through August 31st.  There’s an opening reception from 6-8 pm if you’d like to see it in person (oh and I’ll be there too!).
