So I know I’ve been completely MIA for the last couple of months, but man, it’s not because I’ve been slacking… me and hubs have been BUSY. He has become the demo master, taking out what remained of our kitchen, an old deck off the bedroom, and attacked numerous beastly shrubs that were overtaking us. I have been bustling away on kitchen designs, deck layouts, contractor scheduling, and house painting. It hasn’t been very sexy, and there’s so much to do that there hasn’t been a lot to shoot that would be… inspiring… but maybe you’ll enjoy some of the process of what we’ve torn out. There is something therapeutic and yet terrifying about ripping out your whole kitchen!
We are down to a leaking fridge in the basement and a microwave on the floor. Trying not to cook as the dishes can only be washed in the tub for now. Motivation to order a new sink!
I’ll come back with some ideas to show you about what will take it’s place soon, I promise! Wait till you see the outside of the house as we tackle the pureed salmon!

I still think you need to keep that viynal floor in the kitchen…well maybe not in the kitchen but take four squares, frame it and put it somewhere in the house.
