Bedroom Inspiration… Honeymoon in Santorini

When Tex and I went on our honeymoon, we started in Santorini, Greece.  We stayed at the Perivolas in Oia on our friends, Alexa and Justin’s recommendations.  They are WICKED smart people… seriously, probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to… ever!  Thank you, Lexi!

As we wandered the house we planned to buy and dreaming of how we’d hope the room would feel, we kept going back to this casual, grotto style high on a cliff overlooking the caldera in Santorini.  Not that we could install a volcanic cliff, but the white-washed effect, popped with vibrant color, and mixed with warm wood tones creates an effect that is just sublime.  Serene and yet alive.  We used this as our inspiration for our master bedroom which is currently under development!

Stay tuned to see how it turns out, let me know if you think we hit it!
